Terms of service

These terms apply when you use houseofchandan.com or buy from us. By placing an order you agree to them.

1. Who we are

This website is run by House of Chandan, a sole proprietorship owned by Priyanshi Bisht, at Garhi Mohall Ghitorni, House No. 2, New Delhi 110030, India.

2. Using this website

You must be 18 or older to order, or order with the involvement of a parent or guardian. Please give us accurate information when you order.

3. Products and prices

Prices are in Indian Rupees and include applicable taxes. Product colours can look slightly different on screen than in person. If a product is listed at a clearly wrong price, we may cancel the order and refund you in full.

4. Orders

An order is accepted when we send you an order confirmation. We may decline or cancel an order, with a full refund, if a product is unavailable, if we cannot deliver to your address, or if we suspect fraud.

5. Payment

We accept full online payment by UPI, card, net banking and wallets, and partial payment, where part of the order is paid online and the balance on delivery. Payments are processed by our payment gateway partner. We do not store your card details.

6. Shipping, returns and refunds

Delivery is covered by our Shipping Policy. Returns, refunds and cancellations are covered by our Refund Policy.

7. Using our products safely

Follow the instructions supplied with each product. Use electrical products only with the correct power supply, keep them away from water unless the product is expressly described as water resistant, and do not leave heat-producing products unattended.

8. Our content

The text, design and images on this website belong to House of Chandan or are used with permission. Please do not copy them without asking.

9. Liability

To the extent the law allows, our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under Indian consumer law.

10. Grievance officer

In line with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, our grievance officer is Priyanshi Bisht. Email support@houseofchandan.com or call +91 91572 44478. We acknowledge a complaint within 48 hours and aim to resolve it within one month.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at New Delhi have jurisdiction.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. The version on this page when you place an order is the one that applies to it.
